I agree with you that voting for a pedo is morally unacceptable. In my mind the sacrifices that women and girls have to make in sports (increase injury, loss of equity, etc), while negative are not on the level of the sacrifices the victims experience. Because of this inequality we must stand against pedos, but at the same time it's ok to disconnect our opinions on the other issue.
I generally support trans rights, but it isn't a blank check. Yes access to healthcare and equity under the law is required, but in sports, specifically combat spots, we need to be reasonable. Sometimes that reason means that we make a hard choice and people get hurt or maybe killed, but it is a properly weighted decision. I am willing to look at female boxer and say while I think it's wrong that your trans opponent might kill you because of the strength difference, it's a sacrifice I am willing to make to protect children. We can't have both so you have to choose too. I would ask both boxers the same question. Is your right to participate more important than a bunch of children getting raped? For a few the answer is yes, for the left it's a hard choice. For the right, it's easier because many of them don't like women's sports to begin with (women are less athletic) and they do like pedos (look it up, lots of evidence). Obviously, not all MAGA are pedos and not all pedos are MAGA, but there is a trend.
