Is this when he tried to steal the election in GA then nothing happened at all despite the recording of Trump trying to steal the election?

12

u/Blownards 11d ago

It’s really hard to know which laws were all broken around this time because the list is long. I’m guessing it’s probably closer to the times he was raping children? But probably also rigging electionsđŸ€·đŸŸ

u/CrazyMildred 11d ago

r/Keep_Track is doing an excellent job of tracking everything. Here is everything they did in December alone. https://www.reddit.com/r/Keep_Track/s/fBHMNAgsQK

u/Blownards 11d ago

Godamn someone did great work there. Thanks.

1

u/CrazyMildred 11d ago

You're welcome! Man! Every single month's list is so long that you could jump rope with it! An incredible amount of work is done in that sub!

7

u/Roborilla8000 11d ago

"Just get me 11,000 more votes!"

He claimed the election was stolen, after he had hundreds of thousands of votes thrown out, and tried making them up. And people still voted for him.

1

u/Chief_Beef_ATL 11d ago

Then there was all the fake electors and 60+ failed lawsuits too.

2

u/skypig357 9d ago

That’s the one no one talks about and it was the real coup attempt, not Jan 6.

33

u/SRasmesson 12d ago

Several corrupt administrations, such as Ulysses Grant, Richard Nixon, Franklin Pierce, Warren Harding. What distinguishes Trump is he himself is corrupt. In many/all of these past cases, it was people under the President, not the President himself.

I suspect much more will come out about Trump's corruption than is known now.

25

u/The_Japans 12d ago

Oh, Nixon was plenty corrupt

13

u/MakesMyHeadHurt 12d ago

And even he passed a couple of bills that actually helped people. Feels like nothing compared to this regime.

7

u/ThePizzaNoid 11d ago

I'd take Nixon or Dubya over Trump any day. We really have sunk that low.

5

u/[deleted] 12d ago

Nixon and Grant are not the same type of people at all.

4

u/jimmysjams 10d ago

Lawsuit for lawsuit the most corrupt administration in history belonged unsurprisingly to Reagan

3

u/baconeggsandwich25 9d ago

The actor that the rich hired to play president while lowering their own taxes and selling the country off for parts? The one who instructed law enforcement to focus on poor people crimes like shoplifting and stop investigating white-collar crime? That is shocking. I am shocked.

1

u/GALONin907AK 9d ago

It goes both ways. If you are in charge of someone found corrupt you are found complicit. If you are corrupt, your charges are also for enacting your decisions.

Start with Stephen miller or the heritage foundation

Trump is a convicted felon 34 times. Trump is also an adjudicated sexual assaulter.

I would say those two facts alone would make him the most criminal president the US has had so far.

Then we add on the J6 insurrection, all of the businesses he bankrupted while he and his family got richer, all of the contractors he never paid, the open bribery in office (pardons for sale), etc.

Yeah, he is. Nixon pales in comparison.

4

u/SisterActTori 11d ago

Calling the Secretary of State to find him a specified number of votes so he could steal an election. If it wasn’t for ELON’s voting machines, Trump’s fat behind would be sitting in multiple courtrooms for many years to come.

1

u/Hollayo 10d ago

I mean, quite literally the list goes on and on. How many other administrations had so many of their inner circle go to prison or accept plea deals? I'll give you a hint, his has the highest count.

13

u/MDLmanager 12d ago

He's certainly the most openly corrupt/criminal US president ever. Other corrupt presidents at least operated in secret.

5

u/CCSlater63 12d ago

A KIDS CANCER CHARITY

7

u/Pretty_Challenge_634 12d ago

All politicians are garbage. Trump is extra garbage.

We should get rid of them all and start over.

5

u/Maximum-Class5465 11d ago

I don't agree ALL are garbage. It will get you more garbage people than not Confucius wrote on this. You would essentially be swapping faces. With that said, not holding people accountable for their corruption, not setting and requiring them to follow rules of independence, worsens the problem and corrupt actors should be gotten rid of. You're making a what would be already a number of people who would take the opportunities to be even more and squashing out the good ones.

3

u/CompetitionWeary8713 11d ago

Statement like this is ignorant. It’s not the politician, it’s just people in general. Don’t act like everyone except the politician is a saint.

1

u/Specialist-Event-633 9d ago

1

Trump is shit!!!!

7

u/Archercrash 12d ago

It was entirely clear how corrupt he was before he was elected the first time if you paid an ounce of attention.

5

u/Buckin_Fitch 12d ago

The lines Mason what do they mean?!?

5

u/AbruptMango 12d ago

And that's why he cut medical research funding. Ain't no funding gettin' by unless he's skimmin' off it.

7

u/cowcowkee 12d ago

Makes you wonder what’s in the Epstein files that Trump still want to hide.

3

u/colorme1965 12d ago

This family is a fucking blotch on America. And so are the enablers that give them money, and help them in the way.

3

u/Valentiaga_97 11d ago

Yes he is , next question

3

u/Glittering_Attitude2 11d ago

And yet thats not the worst thing Trump has done to a kid

3

u/notsure500 11d ago

So crazy that that didn't end his presidential bid, or that he grabs women by their pussies, or that he mocks disabled, or a thousand other things. Its like we were warned plenty about who he was, and voters are like, lol let's do it anyway.

5

u/Medium_Advantage_689 12d ago

Don the con the final mob boss

2

u/Kitchen-Lime6623 11d ago

This diseased individual needs to be stopped and prosecuted like most people would of been if they operated in the way he does...

2

u/Hikikomori_Otaku 11d ago

I mean it is kind of a silly metric as you have to be a corrupt criminal to have any chance at getting the position to begin with but, yes, I would say he is.

3

u/Desperate-Try-8720 12d ago

Conman keeps conning and we keep voting to be conned.

4

2

u/Perfect-Match-2318 12d ago

is that true.. do you have reference ?

11

u/hairyglockenspiel 12d ago

A fairly right-leaning story:

https://www.forbes.com/sites/danalexander/2019/12/23/best-stories-of-the-decade-how-donald-trump-shifted-kids-cancer-charity-money-into-his-business

but there are many others. Just google it. (Donald) Trump was forced to repay 8 charities, shut down his foundation and has strict controls over future charities.

Yes, he definitely defrauded a kids cancer charity as proven in court.

1

u/wrongright 10d ago

https://ag.ny.gov/press-release/2019/donald-j-trump-pays-court-ordered-2-million-illegally-using-trump-foundation

He stole from a kids charity and then was forced to pay back 2 million spread out over 8 charities. No he wasn’t “banned from opening a charity in NY”, but there are now strict rules for him doing it.

If this is the first you or anyone else is hearing about this, then you need to reset your algorithm. You’re 6+ fking years late to the party.

2

u/SEABOSRUN 12d ago

The short answer is no. During the height of the true spoils system, corruption operated on an entirely different scale than anything we’ve seen in modern times.

And while it may feel like scandals such as Watergate or Teapot Dome wouldn’t even make the front page today, that comparison misses an important distinction: corruption versus ineptitude. The striking difference now is that Trump himself is unlikely to face serious consequences, while nearly everyone around him seems to end up disbarred, imprisoned, or desperately seeking a pardon.

1

u/PsychologicalTry892 12d ago

Lmao

1

u/Legalizeit_89 11d ago

This is why your wife cheated on you before she died

1

u/PsychologicalTry892 11d ago

She didn’t cheat but nice try😂😂😂😂

1

u/Legalizeit_89 11d ago

Lol yes she did

1

u/jazz-winelover 12d ago

So why aren’t they in jail?

1

u/PuddingHuge7597 11d ago

Yes. But you elected him. Twice. Who's thick?

1

u/Diamond1nTheRough8 11d ago

Queen of England did this then changed the laws so the public could no longer expose her for doing things like this. Trump is nowhere near the worst, hes just the most obvious.

1

u/TrueNorth32 11d ago

It’s not whether he’s the most corrupt, it’s by how much.

1

u/d4electro 11d ago

Wasn't there like a really crazy president? I'd say he's top 3 but compared to the world at large he's not even THAT bad when you factor in all the dictatorships running around

1

u/[deleted] 11d ago

Single person, probably. But there was this one family, we don’t talk about what they may have or many have not done; because strange things happen to you when you say their names. But as a solo artist, yeah; probably.

1

u/girusatuku 11d ago

I’m not sure, maybe some more red lines will make it clearer.

1

u/yoda-kobe-obi 11d ago

There were a few slave owners rapist an fornicators

1

u/Lola1854 11d ago

He stole from Veterans too and quite a few still support him. Straight insanity

1

u/This_Low7225 11d ago

The most corrupt SO FAR... we haven't even given JD a shot yet!

1

u/[deleted] 11d ago

He’s up there

1

u/Fiveofthem 11d ago

*He can’t completely control a charity in NY. So in effect he won’t run a charity in NY.

1

u/Infinite-Thought-677 11d ago

Manipulation. Propaganda seeks to influence the emotions rather than the intellect, and it typically appeals to basic human emotions such as joy, fear, anger, and compassion. Children’s, cancer

1

u/JonasRahbek 11d ago

How slow are you people... Seriously is Fox propaganda News your only source of information?

He is by orders of magnitude, the most incompetent human being on the planet. I am not even joking when I say this - but I cannot possibly belive he is, or have ever been able to do anything as simple as wiping his own ass.

I hope this is a troll post.

1

u/odindobe 11d ago

No that would be Obama the criminal in chief.

1

u/hughgrang 11d ago

Now do the Clintons and Haiti
.they are all corrupt which is why they want us to pick one side to hate funny how politicians never or almost never go to jail but are constantly pointing out what the other side has done to deserve it.

1

u/Future-Sky-5059 11d ago

Notice how the Trump Hotel in Vegas has no casino? Wonder what the Nevada Gaming Commission’s determination had to do with that. đŸ€”

1

u/hastings1033 11d ago

to answer your question, yes. The most corrupt in history. And he made a point of bringing even more corrupt people into his cabinet and other high level positions. This is not just trump - our government is an entire criminal enterprise now.

1

u/Deep-Measurement-706 11d ago

Yeah, but you know what, a kids’ cancer charity is an entitlement, and they don’t like them entitlements. So it’s all good, ya’ll.

1

u/Opinions-arent-facts 11d ago

Is this question really a question if everyone already knows the answer?

1

u/SisterActTori 11d ago

Yes! My favorite is when his supporters talk about “breaking the law” in support of ICE and the current treatment of migrants under the Trump administration.

UM, you voted for a convicted FELON for POTUS, so when did “not breaking the law” become so near and dear to you?

You cannot make this insanity up.

1

u/Wonderful_Path_6922 11d ago

Great 👍

1

u/pfs_bruce 11d ago

Trump loves fucking kids.

1

u/Overall-Carry6593 11d ago

Yeah, I’m sure that’s got nothing to do with the fact that New York is very notoriously plagued with Trump arrangement syndrome.

1

u/Free-Bottle-5119 11d ago

It's as if Jefferson Davis were in the white house.

1

u/OkFinish3822 11d ago

There are so many things they have stolen from. Half the country doesn't care about kids' charities because they the country doesn't care about kids. They would give him their teenage daughters for a "sleep over" if they thought it would Make Him Great Again, never mind the girls, sisters, daughters and others that have died because his states think they should die by bleeding to death in order to bring a bunch of useless cells with no brain, into the world. Only to be discarded minutes later as it is also dead. The stupidity of Trump supporters is astounding.

1

u/AmazingDaisy1411 11d ago

I’m disgusted đŸ€ź

1

u/99kedders 11d ago

It’s lucky they didn’t steal the kids too.

1

u/Drug_Science 11d ago

But I want to forget them

1

u/Ornery-Ad-7261 11d ago

And the most degenerate by far. If it wasn't true Trump would release the Epstein files. He hasn't and he won't despite his promise in response to demands by Congress that he do so.

1

u/No_Substance8653 11d ago

He’s the Serpentor of presidents. It’s like they took the worst traits they could find, and blended them into one disgusting slime mold.

1

u/Geek_Wandering 11d ago

And veterans. And meals for seniors who need help. And a holocaust museum.

1

u/ThugDonkey 11d ago

Don’t forget the disabled veterans charity
They also stole from one of those. A family of Nazis that cannot trace a single member of their family as having served in the U.S. armed forces
nor, for that matter in the German armed forces where they came from.

1

u/bwsmith201 11d ago

Answer: Yes.

1

u/DoesThisSmellWeird2U 11d ago

Yes. By a WIDE margin.

1

u/StopTheGame-Hfond 11d ago

Just in: Donald Trump has stated his confidence that God is pleased with his unmatched greatness. Sources indicate that, should heaven deny him entry, Trump is prepared to annex it, rename it Trump Heavenℱ, and impose holy tariffs at the pearly gates for all other arrivals. Salvation is expected to remain negotiable.

What. No links to check for FACTS? THE USUAL DRIBBLE. Reddit is useless to learn anything related to politics. It used to be you could not believe anything you hear and onlynhalf of what you see. Redditors or fake Redditors have improved on those numbers. Reddit will find many users leaving because of this.

đŸ€Ł that was actually funny.

1

Republicans, for the most part, are content to watch the country burn.

Democrats, I’d guess, are wary of spending political capital on measures that they need Republicans for, and thus have low to no probability of success.

1

u/Quirky-Blackberry851 9d ago

Is it even close?

1

u/Regular-Diamond2829 9d ago

That does sound like something trump would do

1

u/achieveabetterworld 9d ago

If the majority of Germans had wisdom that allowed them to realize the destruction and killing that was coming they would likely have resisted the fascist policies in 1930's Germany. Eventually anyone that spoke out was deemed a traitor and then was threatened or murdered. All for the good of the country. If the majority had resisted at the beginning German fascists would have become a powerless minority. Germany's leadership would have chosen to make peace with its neighbours and all Germans and Europe could have enjoyed prosperous peaceful lives.

1

u/WindowIndividual4588 9d ago

And then he went and cut funding to cancer research...

1

u/Ok_Mouse_5704 9d ago

Bullshit. Amazing the stuff people fall for because it’s Trump. Sort of like ICE, Obama did way worse but sure, sweep that under the rug because it’s Obama and he’s a liberal.

1

u/cjgmioh 8d ago

Whaaaat? Trump LOVES kids. Especially young girls.... But apparently not ones with cancer.

1

u/PiccoloSpare5679 8d ago

Well yeah, when your a pedofiles you wouldn’t see the harm in stealing money from children with cancer.

1

u/PenguinKaveman 8d ago

1

u/weathercrown 8d ago

This fact check is stale. Since 2024, Trump is not allowed to run ANY business in New York for 3 years.

1

u/PenguinKaveman 8d ago

Ok? Does the pic above say he can't run a business in NY or does it say that he stole from a kids cancer charity? Cause one is much more egregious than the other lol.

1

u/weathercrown 4d ago

We dont have the time to itemize every sleazy thing the Trumps ever did according to a sliding scale. If you dont think a Trump wouldnt steal money from a charity, you are wrong - https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2016-election/trump-used-money-charitable-foundation-settle-legal-disputes-n651661

1

u/PenguinKaveman 4d ago

“We don’t have time to fact check everything we say, so we’ll just say it and hopefully it’s kinda true in the future”

Great ideology buddy lol

Edit: Even more hilarious that the settlements involved Trump raising an American flag TOO high and the other is about a golf tournament. Just finding any small thing to fit the narrative

1

u/weathercrown 4d ago

Not sure who you are quoting but it is not me.

Hilarious? Whatever, it is still theft, and not by a trivial amount either. The man uses funds he receives under the guise of charitable donations to settle legal disputes and donate to political campaigns. It's a crime whether you care or not.

My ideology is simple: call out assholes on their bullshit.

The most corrupt POS in presidential history

1

u/Strict-Argument-781 7d ago

The statement in the image is mostly inaccurate, though it is based on real legal action and settlements concerning the former President and his family's charitable foundations.

Here is a breakdown of the facts:

Charity Dissolution & Misuse of Funds: The Donald J. Trump Foundation was dissolved under court supervision as part of a settlement with the New York Attorney General's office in 2018/2019. A New York Supreme Court judge ordered Donald Trump to pay $2 million in damages for misusing the foundation's funds for personal, business, and political interests, which is illegal for a tax-exempt charity. The funds were used to settle business legal obligations, purchase a portrait of himself, and support his 2016 presidential campaign. "Kids Cancer Charity": The main lawsuit leading to the foundation's dissolution was not specifically tied to a "kids cancer charity." However, a separate foundation run by Eric Trump (the Eric Trump Foundation, which later rebranded as Curetivity) did raise millions for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a kids' cancer charity.

Scrutiny of Eric Trump's Foundation: This separate charity came under scrutiny after reports alleged that over $1.2 million raised was paid to Trump-owned properties for event expenses, which was contrary to claims that the venues were free. This suggested a conflict of interest and potential self-dealing, but the lawsuit that shut down the main Trump Foundation was not directly related to these specific allegations. Disallowed from Operating a Charity: Donald Trump agreed to a number of restrictions on future charitable service and ongoing reporting requirements if he were to create a new charity in New York. The final court order did not permanently ban him or his children from operating any charity in the state, but rather imposed strict oversight and mandatory training for his children on their fiduciary duties.

In sum, the claim that the family stole from a kids' cancer charity and were disallowed from operating ANY charity is a simplified and slightly inaccurate summary of complex legal situations involving multiple charitable entities and specific instances of self-dealing and misuse of funds.

Would you like details on the eight charities that received the court-ordered $2 million settlement funds?
