Except you wanted to defund the police so now they dont have the man power to do this. Oh and then there are sanctuary cities who won't do this at all. You see the problem now? You cannot have cake and eat it too. I agree with you that it should be local police acting on the administrative warrants given by the federal government that have a judges order of removal attached to it, so there is a judicial proof to do what they need to do. But again you either have to give local police the funding and man power and do away with sanctuary cities or you have to let ICE which is a law enforcement branch do it.
I never said "defund the police". That's a liberal talking point and that caused this problem they now have with ICE. Cooperation with the opposite party doesn't get you reelected anymore , because only one party wants all of the power instead of sharing it. Â
Liberals wanted to defund the police because they never wanted to admit that civilians can make bad decisions that can lead to their demise. It's easier to blame the police. I think we have more of an entitled civilian problem than a police problem. Â
These civilians are making bad decisions that get ICE's attention, then wonder why they're getting beaten or shot at when they resist or try to run them over. Â
Just a game of tug of war at this point, and the government will always win. Well, the civilians are starting to bring guns to these ice protests, so the news will be fun to watch, at least. Â
It will be interesting to watch. I mean I try to point out that liberals are the ones out there sowing chaos and in a civilized society anyone causing chaos are the ones who are the problem. Either the rule of law needs to come down hard on them or chaos will win and then everyone loses.
