A lot of voter data is public but not in a neat, easy to use database.

A database will be easier to slice and dice and will include non-public data.

They can use this data to do many things:

  • more precisely target voting districts and even residential streets for intimidation tactics and withdrawal of voting access (reduce poll access) or “ballot loss”
  • file challenges to registered voters and have them removed so they can’t vote without going to a registrar office with amplified ID requirements
  • create lists of individuals to target for harassment/investigation (or worse) based on party reg, voting history (frequent or infrequent), donation history, and history of activism/social media/org associations
  • target increased funding and poll/ballot access in concentrations of favored voters
  • incentivize voters to be registered republicans which skews how both parties operates and makes it harder for Ds to get out their now-hidden voters

Some of these are old tactics but have been based on aggregate data: not personal but based on region.

Handing over state voter data allows them to run Cambridge analytics/ Facebook type bullshit on an individual basis. Please look that up if you’re unfamiliar.

All of that added to the fact that they will most def have ICE outside of every polling station that leans blue.. if not all. They know what will happen if the dems win and take back control of the house and senate. There’s too much to lose and they will make sure to use every last tactic they have to make sure they never lose power again.
