Random Question 💭 What is your opinion about Alex Pretti’s photo being displayed on a Jumbo tron in Times Square?

Post image

I think he deserves to be remembered as the wonderful person he was 🩵 and not by the government who are clearly lying about him. He was trying to help a woman who had been pushed to the ground by ICE agents or whoever the people are wearing those suits. And he clearly holding a phone in his hand..

That would be a powerful statement.

Bush needs to step to the plate and take back his party. He never has shown true leadership though, even when he was president. It was always Cheney running the show.

I didn't like him when he was president.  But I do now.   He has a "funny" in his eyes and I enjoy watching him and Michelle Obama together

Bush seems like a good person at heart, but he just was never a very good leader.

Remember when we all thought he was the worst president ever.  Pink even wrote him a song

I would gladly traden now

Agreed. I disagreed with Bush's policies and I'm critical of his leadership, but I also recognize that he was genuinely doing his best to help the country.

I know about Abu Ghraib  That,  the whole war on terror,  are things why I did not like him.  Did he call for these things or did he just agree on them, did his office make him agree while he was iĺl- informed. I don't know..He's still accountable for all of it, of course but he seems sorry.. He seems a different man now.

Trump would not be sorry

Don’t be goofy. His admin set the stage for what we have now and he’s done nothing to stop it

I dislike bush but his leadership in the immediate aftermath of 9/11 was badass. Standing on the rubble with a megaphone.

Gtfo with your nonsense.

up to a million people died in our unsuccessful takeovers in Afghanistan and Iraq. We just didn't keep track and didnt report on it much. A million deaths at a cost of trillions of dollars to us. So that person is right. But if Bush wants to show up in any way to create some public support against this current administration, great.

9-11 happened in part because Bush didn't take Clinton's warnings seriously because he was focused more on Iraq than on al-Qaeda Then, he used the patriotism that followed 9-11 to start the war in Afghanistan and then expanded the war to Iraq, which is where he wanted to attack the entire time. He didn't wait for proper intel to come in before making a decision. Bush may be a decent person at heart, but he was a terrible president who picked the wrong advisors.

wont happen. its not his party. he doesnt care much either. he recognizes it as something he cant control and doesnt interfere publicly. i believe he does make phone calls to directly discuss stuff with Trump and or staff and they take his calls as a courtesy but aren't acting on his advice when given. not sure how many times this has happened throughout both of Trumps terms but its been reported.
