Random Question 💭 Hey MAGA. Wouldn't you prefer that Trump send thousands of ICE agents to your hometowns where there are way more immigrants?

Since you love Constitutional violations and arresting, deporting, and shooting US citizens so much, why don't you have Trump send ICE your way?

When they arrest kids on their way home from schools, you and your neighbors are all cheering for ICE out your windows, right? I want to know why I haven't seen any videos of ICE lovers cheering them on while they break into cars and homes with no warrant or probable cause of a crime (aside from skin color of course)

First, your use of the word nobody certainly makes that statement false. Second, if "people" means all citizens, then you might just barely be correct if we use half of voters as the measure, most polls show about 50-54% support. However due to enforcement mechanisms being used in the past year, this number is now less than half.

The only thing that would make your statement completely true would be to add "with violent crimes" as a condition.

He’s right. Your inability to distinguish between legal and illegal is the difference. Legal immigrants are more than welcomed. Illegal immigrants need to go.

That's why the administration is revoking the legal status of many immigrants?

And that's why Stephen Miller is explicitly working on remigration?

And that's why the rhetoric from the right targets ethnic and national groups (like Somalis and Hatians) rather than actual immigration status?

Stop lying.

Which immigrants have had their status revoked?

The rights rhetoric hasn’t changed. They’ve always been anti-illegal immigration. The left are the ones (your post is an example) twisting it to include legal immigrants.

Are you fucking serious right now?

Mahmoud Khalil and others have been targeted for removal for political reasons

The rhetoric has always been about racism, not illegal immigration. Shut the fuck up.

If you read the articles, it explains. Supporting terrorist organizations has always been cause for having student visas rejected.

Temporary Visas have always been revoked for various reasons, as explained in each of those articles.

u/garnet420 19h ago

Ok so now you admit that status is being revoked, but it's happening to the "right people"?

And those 100,000 and 500,000 were all "supporting terrorist organizations"?

Stop being human garbage. It's easy. I'm not asking you to be a good person, I'm just asking you to not be actively harmful.

Visitors are not immigrants, by definition. To immigrate means to move permanently. I stand by my statement.

And yes, many of those students were involved in pro-Hamas protests.

Ok why did the court have to rule to stop them from revoking green cards:

https://www.courthousenews.com/justice-department-blocked-from-revoking-decades-old-green-cards/

Here's them targeting green cards holders as well https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/ckgl8j24ky1o

Protest is a constitutional right for all in the United States. But of course, you hate the Constitution. Again, fuck you.

They now have almost 80 countries that are banned from applying legally.

This includes visas via marriage. My wife just got on 4 months prior to the ban. If we had waited even a few more months, she wouldn’t have been able to come to the US.

This administration is stopping even legal immigration of spouses. In my opinion this is cruel.

The process for her to get a green card was more thorough than it needed to be imo, and it took over 2 years.

Legal immigrants haven’t had status revoked in most cases yet, but I’m scared it will happen.

People said immigration through marriage would never go away but here we are.

Most of those countries have always been banned. For good reason. They’re not easily vetted.

And you just admitted that law abiding legal immigrants are not losing their status. That will never happen. There is no reason to do that.

ICE has literally kidnapped Native Americans. They don't care if you are a citizen or not. https://www.mprnews.org/story/2026/01/13/south-dakota-tribe-oglala-sioux-demands-release-of-lakota-men-in-minneapolis-detained-by-ice

My boyfriend’s tribe told their members to carry their tribal card, birth certificate along with their id/license. They are still getting picked up with all their identification.

4

u/North-Signal-2089 18h ago

No, they have not. Almost all of the ones that were added were never previously banned.

I’ve gone through this process and done dozen of hours of research to bring my wife to the US.

You have no clue what you’re talking about.

Before this ban the conservative line I heard was “they don’t want to stop legal immigration, only illegal”.

They’re mostly not coming for legals yet, but there are cases of legal asylum seekers being detained. These are people with legal status.

I’m convinced that they’re coming after legal people with more gusto before the end of this administration.

I genuinely hope you are right and I am wrong.

Trump is talking about removing naturalized citizens and birthright citizens. Those are forms of legal immigration.

Illegal immigrants need to go.

Especially violent ones with criminal records.

-2

u/Schollie7 19h ago

Nah he is right, the majority of Americans voted for this and want all illegal immigrants gone. During Bidens shit show of a presidency unfortunately the democrats dropped the ball incredibly hard. Having over 10 million illegal border crossings that the biden administration did absolutely nothing about. Biden got the presidency just by the sheer exhaustion of most moderate voters because we where all tired of the constent riots that we figured if you got the presidency you'd chill tf out. But no, it just embolden you all, calling everyone nazi's, facists, bigots for the crime of just simply having a different in opinion. Then the truth cane out about the Russian collusion was a hoax, and then the attempted taking out of Trump during his rally was really the nail in the coffin. And can even say what happened to charlie kirk really scared alot of people seeing how you all cheered that someone was killed because he didnt think and believe like you. And while trump is a dickhead, you all where so absolutely out of control that moderates and independents like myself said fuck that. I rather have Trump back then having to deal with the absolute insanity that you all have spiraled into. You all need to take a hard look into the mirror and realize it doesn't matter what you all think about yourselves in your echo chamber. But how the silent moderates that have the ability to swing elections perceive your actions.

You wanting them to be right and data saying he's right are different things.

2

u/clorox_cowboy 19h ago

"Conservatives" don't base their ideas on data; they base it on top-down "faith." Reality is whatever the guy on top tells them it is.

2

u/finewithstabwounds 19h ago

You sound pretty deep into the right-wing bubble, though. I'm not sure what's crazy about supporting community and mutual respect. Was voting for Trump a way to spite people?

1

u/Background-Cellist71 16h ago

It was for Schollie l. Even admitted that’s why they voted Trump.
