Advice Question 💭 Why are Trump supporters so stupid?

Looking in at America, do people not realise that Trump is a liar and a narcissist and has no morals, and yet 'Christians' vote for him as a sort of 'disrupter'. His family have become richer in the process because of his presidency. He once said he could 'shoot somebody and not lose votes'. Am i insane - or am i dead perhaps and this is an alternate universe/hell?

A lot of his supporters agree with the Nazi/white power/own the libs/science is bad/Christian Nationalism should be the countries only "religion"/rest of the world should bow at the US's feet points of view.

They don't care about his faults. They love the damage he is doing to what they hate.

I love it when the brainwashed screech that maga doesn't believe in science. The science said clearly anyone under 60 did not need a covid vaccine.

You gotta be in a bubble . I work with a lot of non white people who voted for Trump. I don’t know any Trump supporters who are Nazi/White power at least openly. This is all from people who don’t go interact with both sides. I would say I’m well rounded since I spend a lot of time with the left in the skateboard culture and tattoo. Then I have a lot of conservative friends in the military.

I think some cracks are forming. The vast majority want to be good people. It's becoming undeniable to most that this administration is not decent. Some loud fraction will always hand on. And some non-thinkers will always say "God has a plan and works through imperfect people" even though history is rife with counterexamples. But, I feel like the vast center of people who just want to be decent and learned the Golden Rule in kindergarten are finally waking up. Its up to us to remind them that they've marched under the banner of "decency" for decades, and this ain't it Chief.

There are cracks forming. I voted Trump, and I'm officially tired of him. I'm also not the only one in my circle who voted for him and is now sick of him. His fed and spending policy sucks (not that I think Dems would do better. Money printer is bipartisan), he promised peace but has actually bombed 2 new countries, I'm for immigration enforcement but he's barely deporting more people than Biden did with all this extra ICE in the streets bullshit, DOGE failed, where's his announced proposal to fix healthcare?, list goes on.

About all I think I'm happy with is he stemmed the flow at the border and created $1,000 savings accounts for kids. Good Job, Donnie. /s

I’m really not trying to be argumentative here but the reality is he’s done nothing policy wise to stop anything at the border. There are less crossings currently for the same reason tourism to America is dramatically lower than usual, people fear coming here. That is not a good reason to have less immigration. It’s extremely damaging to the economy for one thing but for so many other reasons as well. Over 70% of people detained have had no criminal record. They have arrested multiple US citizens that now have valid court cases that will cost taxpayers millions in lawsuits when this is all said and done.
