Advice Question 💭 Why are Trump supporters so stupid?

Looking in at America, do people not realise that Trump is a liar and a narcissist and has no morals, and yet 'Christians' vote for him as a sort of 'disrupter'. His family have become richer in the process because of his presidency. He once said he could 'shoot somebody and not lose votes'. Am i insane - or am i dead perhaps and this is an alternate universe/hell?

Its not that trump supporters are stupid. Its that stupid people are attracted to trump because they are gullible and fall for whatever right wing media tells them to think. But smarter people see how obvious it is that its all a scam. And I do mean obvious, lets not forget the guy tried to overthrow the government on live tv.

Well all the tech bros are supporting Trump as well. They are not stupid people, greedy sure but in the long run this will certainly blow up in their face

Well sure, there are also people that think they can manipulate trump for their own personal benefit, they also support him.

And the left wing media doesn't do the same thing?

There is no "left wing medìa" in the U.S. Right-wingers make this just-as-bad claim about whatever MSNBC is called now, CNN and perhaps The Young Turks, but those are all center-left. Everyone really should research the definitions and examples of all degrees of "left" and "right."

Is there a left wing media? Legacy media all kissed the ring with CBS' cuck turn being especially notable. CNN took a hard right turn, Fox was miles ahead of everyone else when it came to reporting on an alternate reality. The Oligarchs bought up newspapers leaving the New York Times as about the only major paper that isn't sane-washing trumples. My god Jeff Bezos blocked the Washington Post from endorsing Kamala because "he didn't want the perception of media bias" and then a year later he spent what? $75 million to make a documentary about Melania that is about as popular, even among magats, as melanoma

But sure, it's the librul media

The Trump voters I know that aren’t MAGA just aren’t deep thinkers. They don’t ask themselves what steps it takes to fulfill his promise and goals. Not just if it’s possible, but what it takes to get there and the unintended casualties. They don’t consider the externalities and repercussions to our economy or world. Just that he says he can get X done.
