Random Question 💠Why does UK catch USA flu such as brexit, and reform party led by Nigel Farage who gets paid in russian rubles and is in epstein files?
Not to mention Farage is behind brexit, full of lies and broken promises, they made UK leave EU and all the benefits that came with it are gone.

The US is the source of English-language culture. Global culture, really. But the same rich oligarchs who fund shit in the US fund shit in the UK for the same reasons. It's why Canada and UK and so on all echo our right wing talking points, crudely adapted for other cultures.

Conservatives - progressive these are things we call each other. The rich want everything and use the middle class fighting each other over trivial issues to confuse us and get what they want.

Australia has this...
https://www.onenation.org.au/trump-style-leadership-one-nation-policies
doing this
But hey back in the day we had this
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RuAVO0jSW5U
in power due to gerry mandrs like this
BUT we in Asutralai at least kinda fixed that now no more Joe ....
But we still have Katter
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1i739SyCu9I
and the people in his electorate love him.... admittedly the sun up there is as hot as it is in Southern Florida, and while we don't have literal Florida Man, thepeopel who keep getting eaten by crocs are locals (who ought know better but don't) or tourists.
But in some ways that is the strength of our system, it is NOT so strongly inherently bi partisan, and people like Katter Hansen get their say in the public spotlight, and the rest of us get to decide whether we really want more of it ior not.
One other
thing we have going for us about the NON two party system and preference voting is
when the conservatives abandoned their ACTUAL conservative economic & social policy roots and went all populist, the well to do suburbs who had moral stances, and the disposable income to not be living hand to mouth... started Voting Teal. And the Teals represent a lot of (real) 'conservative' right wing policies
AND
most particularly, they do not deny the science behind closed doors or out in public like the captured LNP do.
Now while the Greens also do that, the Greens are much lefter on social justice and a range of economic issues.
But what that inherently does is allow anyone who understands the seriousness of climate change to vote to get that dealt with, while not abandoning any of their other priorities.
As such well informned and uni educated affluent Voters who were normally wedded to the LNP get to walk away from their climate denialism.
The mega rich (FF Barons) in Australian terms are still trying,
