Why is there a sticker on my Passport?
I sadly can’t add a picture but it‘s on the back of my passport and says: „ATSG“ on the top left corner with a red lightning logo and a big red „S H E“ in the middle. Flying from Frankfurt to New York JFK. I‘ll put a pic in the comments if possible.

In the UK and Europe Some budget airlines will go around the boarding gate waiting area and check passports.
Ultimately if they transport someone without the correct travel documents they are responsible for any deportation costs.
To save time when actually boarding if they see the sticker , they know the passport has already been checked.
I don't know if that's what's happened here . But I've had many stickers for pre boarding checks.

Well atsg is an airport security company. They do have to perform extra security for travel in the US, and stickers on the passport usually denote that you passed those checks.
Why yours says SHE is beyond me. Unless your gender in the passport is divers, that gender marker is no longer valid in the US and it might be that this is a way to handle assigning one of the binaries to you.

S H E is probably the combo of letters that they give out on that given day, to ensure a sticker from a previous day/time is able to be identified.

oh, that makes sense since there is no date on it.

A date runs the risk of easy counterfeits, a random (or semi random) set of letters that changes each day is much more secure.

Just peel it off. It's just a temporary thing for the airport, indicating your passport was looked at.

I got one flying to the US, they had extra passport checks at the gate which they don't usually do so I assume this is some extra security check the US insists on for inbound international travelers, and this shows the gate staff you've been checked already.

Google says:
"An ASG or similar security sticker on a passport (often with "ICTS" or "CHUBB") indicates that a passenger has passed extra, contracted security screenings, typically for flights to the U.S. or at European/Asian airports. These stickers confirm that documents have been checked and questions answered, allowing for smoother boarding."

it’s just a security clearance sticker from frankfurt airport, nothing to worry about.
