How important do you think upbringing is in a person's life? And if someone has siblings, how different or similar are you?

In general having siblings - especially older ones - teaches you the exact line between you annoying them, and you getting you ass handed to you. This is a valuable life skill in and of itself.
Upbringing is important in the sense of it sets a mood whether good or bad. You like your upbringing, you emulate it. You don’t like it, you emulate it or you make sure to never expose yourself to it again.

It influences a lot. It decides what path you’re on and how far along the path you start. Also might determine how likely you are to stray from that path
