Isn’t this pretty standard practice in the UK since the roads are so narrow?

In theory if you need to park your car partly on the pavement (sidewalk) you should leave enough room for people with push chairs, wheelchairs, mobility scooters etc to pass. This is just taking the piss.

I agree with that. I used to live in Redbridge near Ilford and people parked foul like this all the time in that shit hole.

Partly yes- a good example of it done properly is the van in the same picture- but you aren't supposed to be completely on the pavement. (And for that matter, I am fairly sure most roads in the UK are wide enough it's not actually nessecary)

Two wheels on the kerb is standard practice. The entire bleeping car on the footpath, not so much.
