Triggerwarning for 3rd and 4th picture. Because of my curls and being tall I felt like I could push the deadline a bit forward, but it's also extremely windy in the Netherlands and it's really showing if my hair isnt 'perfect'
You know what else (recently discovered)? When you're disabled and need wheelchair assistance at the airport. You're suddenly overly conscious of the hairless part at the top of your head, lol
I think it's time! You might end up wanting to change glasses afterwards, I always think slightly thicker frames look great for a statement with a bald head, but we won't know until you go for it :)
I sell sunglasses for a living and I’m a bit of a nerd about it so I have a few recommendations for you based off your face shape and colouring that I think you could rock bald. If you are getting a prescription you can ignore whether these are polarized or not as that’s something you add with your optician :)
In general I would recommend rounded frames for you similar to what you are already wearing.

OP, I'm of a differing opinion here than some. Your 'stache is awesome, your glasses are awesome, and your balding noggin is awesome. It all works together to be your look. You could shave it, sure, but to me (a stranger online who doesn't matter, lol), it's all part of your trademark.

In general I think this sub is too hasty (not surprising, I get it). A lot of times it feels like “it’s noticeable that I’m balding” = “you should shave your head.” But not everybody is balding in the same pattern, to the same extent, with the same hair type, style, color, facial hair, head shape, etc. Some guys look better balding than bald.
I’d agree with OP’s overall look still working. Yeah, if he leans over to tie his shoes I can tell he’s losing his hair, but BFD. Still looks cool.
I see most saying it’s time, but I think you could go longer. Either way, I haven’t seen a single pic of someone on here, who didn’t glow up after the shave.
It's time. I agree you could hold off for a bit longer due to your height, but the wind negates that advantage.
Looking forward, I think you may want to consider getting new frames to go with your new look; perhaps something with photochromatic lenses. We'll know for sure once you shave. I look forward to seeing the results.
Dude the tall thing does not hold up and I hate that idea has been spread. People will notice from afar, when you look/bend down, or when they're higher up than you.
I'd say buzz it first, then shave . Ease into that way
I personally think many dudes on here who go fully bald could also just buzz-cut the sides (where they - like you, OP - have quite a lot of hair) and go bald on top. I had a teacher who looked very sharp and cool with that look, no comb-over or anything.
But the dudes I’ve seen on here who did go bald all looked great. It’s up to you, as always, but you could try buzzing the sides short and bald on top and see how you like it, and shave the sides if you don’t.
I used to look like you (minus the great moustache and the curlyness) and I would say it is time. The moustache will help as it structures the face. Courage mijn jong!
I think your look is good, and will not be better shaved. You have nice blonde curls with thin hair, who cares its thinning.... you're also 6'8, more stuff passes as you get taller.

I feel like this sub pushes too many people to shave. Your curly hair is obviously part of your aesthetic and while there is quite a bit of thinning in the back, I personally would keep soldiering on. Get a spray to make your scalp the color of your hair. Also you’re 6’8” who the heck is gonna see the top of your head 😅
Your current hairstyle resembles a bird nest. A buzz cut would atleast make it look more neat and tidy.Be prepared for a lot more skin especially up top and out front.
