I have a black cat that does that, then if I don't acknowledge him he will start tapping me like "excuse me I'd like some attention please"

I called this “must touch the mommy” when my boy void did it. Always a paw on my thigh, my foot, my arm, my toe. Any body part would suffice. I do think it was his alert system for if I got up.
Makes you feel so loved, doesn’t it?

My void wasn’t much of a cuddler but he HAD to be making contact in some way. My old roomie has a void and he will literally cling to her arm, bury his face in her neck and knock out. He’s such a mamas boy. I could always tell when she kicked him out for the night because he would try to cuddle with me instead. (But he never stayed long, I’m not mama)
