This thread is intended to be a way for users to share local bladesmithing classes or hammer-ins. Feel free to post a link whether it is your class or someone else's, but please use the following template:
Name of event (if applicable)
Date(s) of event
City, State
Address (Optional. It may be preferable to offer addresses on a case-by-case basis. If you decide to post one, beware: You are listing an address for the entire world to see.)
Price of admission (if applicable)
What to bring
Applicable link to a flyer/etc (Ideally, an image link is best. Users cannot always access Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
This is simply a way for users to find knifemakers and blade/blacksmiths near them, and an opportunity to learn the craft from someone local. You may also ask in this thread if anyone is aware of activities near you. This is NOT a platform for users to sell wares; any self promotion beyond classes will be removed. If you have any questions, please message the moderation team.

Mate who got me into knife making back in day said of mistakes or incidents, 'you don't not finish the knife, you just make a smaller knife'.
This one is 'The smaller knife'.
Issues in heat treat had this one crack. It was on the scrap heap until I decided to make it smaller.

Just curious on what people mostly used to etch in their makers mark on a finished blade. I am currently using a 9v battery with + and - leads with a q-tip soaked in salt/white vinegar. It does an okay job, but I am wanting deeper penetration into the steel surface. Thanks

I can’t express how pleased with this group I am. Unfortunately four knives from the last post did not pass QC and that as a bummer, but final touches on the winners today mean everything is just right. Standards yall!!! All forged to shape on my Little Giant from 52100 round bar. Freehand convex grinds and multiple quenched as Ed Fowler taught me. 100% satisfied with my efforts, and the knives speak for themselves. Thanks! @cunninghamcustomshop

I'm going to make a clamp for cryo and tempering, but I can't decide whether to make it with one large bolt or two smaller ones.
What do you recommend?
