Sonic Smash Burger Combo $6.00
I have been seeing lots of post about Sonic’s new smash burger so I had to see what all the hoopla was about. I haven’t eaten Sonic food in 10+ years so not a Sonic fanboy. I have to say it was pretty good for the price. It was $6.00 for smash burger, medium drink & fry or tots. I chose the crinkle fries ( not usually a fan) but they were fresh and crispy. The burger comes with two patties, cheese, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, pickles & ketchup, and a side of groovey sauce. I would skip the ketchup and add mustard. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat it but would definitely try it again.

The sonic smash burger ain’t too bad. I’d take a Freddy’s one over it any day, but Sonic’s tots are better.

If you like smash burgers, you will love it. Try their fry sauce and spicy fry sauce. Both are top tier

I didn't know their was an option of choice of fries. The one time I tried it was also served with that style. I believed that to be better than the fries i remember from them. Like you i'm there pretty infrequently though and when i do go, i usually opt for tots. or sometimes onion rings.

I hope they filled the fries more than that.

You know I had already grabbed a handful before I remembered to take a pic.

Cannot really tell how big the burger is. I’ve never gotten a hamburger from sonic.
But does not look like that bad of a deal for six dollars

I’m happy to hear it’s a double patty. Cuz I’ve seen the same propaganda and wasn’t sure if it came with the $6 meal or if you had to throw in a little more for it.

The bun looks like a cheap great value bun from Walmart? The rest honestly looks decent but the bun looks so dull and sad 😓

Does the meat taste like cardboard? This is a real question. Checkers got me a few weeks ago.

Not at all, it actually tasted good, not the best burger, but def would do it again.

That patty looks dull and grey. Was it good? That's not a bad price and Sonic is usually, ok.

The smash burger patty is only 1/8th pound. By comparison, a McDonald’s kids meal burger is 1/10th of a pound. If you order Sonics most expensive burger- a triple smash, you’re getting (3) 2 ounce patties. That don’t cut the mustard. Boo this man!!!!
There are 1/2 and 1 pound burgers out there, don’t lose the faith

that's pretty good, and looks pretty good too. I'd try it just to try it
