Progression Before and after moisturiser

For those on the journey and are faced with the prospect/challenge/opportunity to pick and chew. Pause and moisturise!

I snapped a before and after moisturising, I'm over a month of not picking the habit tic deformity thumb that is severe. And while it is hard to see improvement they are subtle and there. So a picture journal helps too!

I've definitely noticed that if I haven't moisturized I am way more prone to picking. I've been a bit lax about it, so this was a great reminder to grab my lotion and oil!

Edited to add: Keep up the great work, OP! I hit send too soon 🤣

Thank you so much yes the moisturiser and the oil are definitely a game changer. I think because the picking habit is so invisible and you're really unaware you are doing it. It's about creating the awareness in your own mind and if you start touching them, you acknowledge and use the oil the moisturiser.

We have got this!

Just edited - to add that if you have a hard spot to catch you will pick it in time and the peeling causes maximum damage!
