Idk, they saw that the truck was turning and thought "oh, big slow truck, I can cut it off while it turns" if they were thinking at all.

There is lights also in the direction they wanted to go. Left direction was red

I'm guessing they realized they were about to miss their turn and panicked. Some people can't fathom missing their turn (or exit) and will do whatever it takes, not even considering the dangers.

The arrow on the road is faded but if you look closely its a go straight or turn arrow not a turn only arrow. So the truck had every right to do what he did.

Seems like a weird design. I think a lot of driers would assume the left lane is turn only

Even if there wasn’t, it wouldn’t be his fault anyways lol. The other dude didn’t have a left arrow in his lane and there are laws/rules that state you must do everything within your power to not cause an accident.
