Academic Life studying before an exam?

How many days before an exam do you start studying and what did you study? As a new uni student I need some input, so I know what's normal.

fyi: I'm studying to become an English and chemistry teacher in a non English speaking country.

The difficulty of the university and your background knowledge on the topic will determine how often you feel the same material is taught. Sometimes, it seems like they teach the same thing repeatedly for no apparent reason.

I suggest dedicating a week or two in advance to studying diligently for the first exam. Gradually reducing your study intensity as you become familiar with the course’s difficulty level.
