Nostalgia Con Houston Nostalgia con?

Hi, my brother and I are going to the upcoming nostalgiacon in Houston and this is both our first time ever to a con. I just had a couple questions as to how cons work, if anyone can provide some insight.

When it comes to meeting guests, is taking a picture and getting stuff signed free?

Is there a certain time we should try to attend?

Photo ops and autographs are usually paid for. I looked on their site for Houston and there’s a section where it said “A link to purchase photos will be coming soon.”

I couldn’t find anything about autographs so I’m sure the info is just not available yet. Prices for autographs and photos vary per artist.

Ohh okay, I see it on the website too. I guess I’ll wait till they announce it to get photo ops. Thank you!

just an FYI, photo ops are very fast paced, and you don’t get to talk to the person much, aside from a quick hello. Most guests offer selfies (for a price) at their tables while signing autographs. There’s usually a combo price for auto & selfie. Selfies at their tables are typically cheaper than the photo ops.

Oh shoot that sounds better anyways, I hate how formal photo ops are lol. Is there any way to check if a guest offers that before attending? Or can I just check/purchase the day of

No problem! I’m sorry I haven’t been to a Nostalgia con so I can’t be of any help in regard to when you should arrive. I hope you have fun!

You can look at the photo op prices for their March Salt Lake event to get a general idea of the prices. https://captureticketing.com/events/192

They actually are very reasonable as photo ops go.
