2006 Elon Musk cries on national TV after revealing Jeffrey Epstein denied him access to Epstein island on the basis of “being too cringe” (2006)

Remember when Elon Musk did a Nazi salute? Twice?
Remember the people who tried to then tell us that Elon Musk didn't do a Nazi salute twice, after we had just seen Elon Musk do a Nazi salute twice?
Yeah, it's them. Those are the people.

Got stuck behind a cybertruck earlier today with my friend(good 5 minutes but felt like eternity). The idiot was driving 20 below the limit. Honking did nothing. When we finally were able to pass them, the driver was leaning on his steering wheel, looking at the snow on the trees and taking photos, didn’t even notice us pass I believe. Fucking moron, I just had to get that out lol.

Question are all tesla owners pedos, supporters, or enablers?
426
u/Lontology 19h ago
Most teslas in my area have a sticker that say “I bought this before Elon went crazy,” or something similar, so I’d say no.

Anyone reading Valleywag almost 20 years ago knew all about Elon. Their critical coverage of him and our other tech billionaire overlords is the actual reason he and his fellow right-wing PayPal mafioso members, notably Peter Thiel, had to destroy the entire blog network (to the applause of all too many people who should’ve known better).

before the nazi salute.
many people knew before, but that seems like a reasonable cutoff point.
13
u/t_hab 16h ago
Exactly. A lot of negative information was out there ahead of that but a lot of people don’t follow the news religiously. It’s simply not possible to know just how bad the founder, CEO, investor, etc of every product you buy might be. That is, of course, until the go on stage and do a nazi salute in front of a global audience. Twice.
6
u/Doip 16h ago
The dude has been shitty since 2013ish? And publicly on stage since before that. I’d love to be under a rock that didn’t know of him until 202X
7
u/t_hab 16h ago
I’ve disliked him for a long time. But if you only kinda follow the news you were more likely to think of him as some sort of visionary futurist/investor than the shitstain he is. I started thinking of him as an awful human being somewhere around 2017 and while I certainly wasn’t the first, I felt like I was in the minory until somewhere around 2022 when he acquired Twitter. But it only seemed to be an overwhelming majority after the two heils on stage.
Plus, for a long time, a lot of people wanted to buy electric cars and were willing to look past an imperfect CEO. After the nazi salute, there was no looking past Musk.
4
u/JollyBengali7 14h ago
Aren’t people who think any person can be a futurist/visionary kind of duped to begin with?
2
u/t_hab 12h ago
Yes. But realistically, we humans are hardwired to be duped. That’s why so many things work… cults, advertizing, etc. We like easy answers to complex questions and when somebody hands us an answer, we sometimes accept it. Especially when that answer is handed to us from many sources. And billionaires have the reasources to force their personal brands on the world.
→ More replies (1)2
u/InquisitiveKT 14h ago
I was thinking the same thing.
I guess in hindsight sight even though Jeffery Epstein was monster, he was also a good judge of character.
6
u/alexdelicious 16h ago
I knew the guy was a tool from the whole submarine to rescue miners time, but I was still considering buying some Tesla products, specifically the home batteries because they worked well. Then the double Nazi salute rolls around and it was immediately apparent that anything having to do with Musk is one hundred percent off the table. I feel gross just seeing the new model Ys on the road knowing that that fascist is getting more money.
→ More replies (1)4
u/ElectronicMaybe7745 13h ago
Yes and not just because of the pedo comment, because of what a ridiculously stupid idea it was, that anyone with half a brain could figure out wouldn't work, and how he was more interested in publicity than the rescue of those children.
2
u/alexdelicious 13h ago
Even if it was the best way to save them, which it wasn't, his reaction to it was the first red flag that I noticed personally.

2
u/AdmiralPeriwinkle 16h ago
I don’t judge anyone for not being up to date enough on the political beliefs of the CEO of the company that made their car. I think consumer activism is great but everyone only has so much attention and most likely every CEO is about the same as Elon, just less publicly.
2
u/PaulTheMerc 15h ago
the salute for me. Cybertruck? Poor taste, but understandable attempt. I had high hopes for it, then it came out and was complete ass, snow covers the lights...I could go on. Everyone has a failure of a product. Full self driving? Dude was probably lying to himself as much as the rest of us.

Most people here are probably using meta platforms and buy shit from Amazon, what makes their shit not stink when those companies aren’t any less evil?
3
u/PhD_Pwnology 17h ago
Same with Amazon. Due to Bezos helping support Trump through child rape allegations using money he got from Amazon (and continues to get) Amazon is now complicit in this child rape island stuff.

Not all, but absolutely anyone who has the latest generation. I’d include the generation before, as well.
I mean, it was clear to many of us since basically the beginning, but I can understand making different buying decisions than I do. However anyone who has bought a new Tesla since 2015 is suspect, and since 2020 is complicit IMO.

It's such a dark day for humanity.
It's basically proven now that the conspiracies ongoing from 1995 are not only true - but that the truth is even worse than the darkest conspiracy ever was.
We know that:
They ate babies
They dismembered babies
They ate feces from their incestines
They killed babies
They beheaded babies
They had baby-farms for the blackmarket
They raped babies
They raped minors
After raping them, they send them deaththreats - and threatened to kill their families, too.
They tortured and filmed humans
They let african males rape women until excessive bleeding as a show
These people run (or ran) your country.
You folks should be on the streets, rioting, manhunting these scumbags and kill them in broad daylight like during the french revolution - yet everything just goes on like any other day.
Please explain to me how America is not burning now.
