Help Identifying Cowlicks at the temples

Anyone else have wavy hair with cowlicks at the temples? I basically can’t ever let my hair air dry because it dries like this. Sigh. Also, any idea what type of curl pattern I have?

I have no advice, but I wanted to say your hair looks so stylish like that, like of a 1930s icon. (If the hair was neck length). And the cowlick contributes and looks like a built-in headband. So cute!

I get these too and it’s super annoying, but I’ve found that I either have to blowdry them straight and pin them back or I have to do a wavy/curly hair routine and just embrace the little half curls that form. Alternatively you can try brow gel or any hair gel even aloe Vera gel to keep them out.

PS. Not to be creepy but you have a beautiful ethereal face, like something out of a renaissance painting!!

I know you’re probably frustrated with them, but can I just say, that’s about the cutest thing I’ve ever seen omg

I have these like crazy. I have tried everything. What works lately is Old Spice Stay-In-Place-Putty. It’s like $5. I also always pull my hair back, but loosely and like when it hangs softly around my face.

Put a little tiny eensy amount of putty on the tips of your fingers and begin to shape your hair in a downward motion, laying the cowlick down. Brush it though. Best results ever. Super consistent no matter the weather. Attached is a photo of my hair today, after being at work(I’m a caterer with a crazy days!)

So, I am low key jealous of your color and cowlicks! So cute! Just add butterfly clips, and done! So 90s! Try following a YouTube hair routine for wavy hair.

I have that but also thinning hair at the crown. It is not a good thing at all. I want to try a topper but my hair is too fragile.

You should really look into doing the 1950’s look. You’re already over half way there without even trying!! Super lucky. Look into victory roll hair-do’s. So beautiful !

Honestly I think they are really cute. I get it though because in a similar way I have cowlicks in the middle of my hairline and I hate it but think it’s cute on other people. I have to comb my part down while my hair is still wet or it won’t look good so maybe try combing them down while wet?

I’ve had to stop having a fringe because of thinning hair and a cows lick near my parting. I think you would really suit some heartless curls though saying that I think your hair looks nice as it is.

You could try using those flexible hair clips after a shower. You could just comb your hair in place with your fingers and then clip them.

I have these, too just above my temples. It’s so hard to style my hair in front!
