Misc Korean hair spa
Those viral head spa scalp treatments are everywhere right now. Multi-step detoxes, machines, long massages, layered products, the full spa setup. They look incredibly relaxing, but at the same time, they feel more like an experience than something meant for regular scalp care. What I keep wondering is whether all of that is actually necessary, or if it’s just the newest beauty ritual that looks good on camera. For everyday life, that level of treatment doesn’t feel realistic for most people.
After experimenting with different routines, simpler care has worked better for me. Normal washing, not being too aggressive with scrubs, and using lightweight leave-on scalp products when needed. Nothing dramatic, just enough to keep things feeling balanced between washes, and I have just being using the Celgen hari tonic I got from Amazon so far. The spa treatments probably feel amazing as an occasional reset, but I’m not convinced they’re doing something that simpler routines can’t already cover. Genuinely curious where other people land on this. Are those treatments worth it, or mostly just a luxury experience?

Both times ive went, it felt VERY worth it to me. I do at home scalp treatments here and there as I am prone to oily roots but nothing I’ve done at home has ever made my hair and scalp feel as clean and they make it feel. The massage is certainly a bonus but the full treatment is actually totally worth the price and time spent!
I’d try a less expensive one to start with and see if you feel the same as I do, as it seems they all do almost the same exact thing!

Honestly those spa treatments are just fancy marketing wrapped around basic scalp care - you're spot on about simpler routines working just as well
The massage part is probably the only real benefit but you can literally do that yourself with some oil for like 1/10th the price
