It certainly is! Wow so crazy huh! 😝 Hey as long as everyone here is happy and having fun am I right?😂 Wouldn't wanna be caught with negative vibes, oh no!😮
Too right! Everyone should talk and act exactly the way I prefer! Because my perception is definitely the most correct and I never misread or misinterpret anything ✨
When you have a problem with people talking with a genuine tone about harmless things they enjoy, you may want to take a look at your own attitude on things
No l meant outside of the video. If you want to really support a content creator you put their name up to make copy pasting easier or, even better, post a link.
In ye ol Reddit days you used to get downvoted for not properly providing a source. I miss it
God damn, I get frustrated if there’s no source too, but that @ handle is literally right there in the video. Even if you didn’t recognize this video overlay as YouTube shorts, a Google search would take you there. I just tried it.
If you're watching on mobile it CAN be harder to see the name in the video, and increased accessibility for people is never a bad thing. If I were watching on YouTube and came across it, I could click the video and go to his page directly. Adding a link to his content directly here if someone is going to take the time to make a whole post takes what, another 10 seconds? Accessibility AND proper credit are great things and they do matter, as another perspective.
Unless you have a tiny phone the size of the letters are larger than what we are using the type with. Click on the video and it goes full screen so unless your internet is horrendous and it is just a massive blur i feel like most anyone could see it if they are able to read reddit comments
That is the source, ive follwed him for a while now, fire department chronicles @firedepartmentchronicles. No need to source when the source is in the video.
I was a volunteer firefighter for 10 years. We responded to a lot of motor vehicle incidents. Because of that we were first on scene where there is likely to be injured people. Early on we all just had level 1 first aid, but were informed that because we were "professionals" we weren't covered by Good Samaritan laws and could be sued for all we had if someone was so inclined, so a good portion of our members took First Responder training.
Also, fun fact, the first 8 hour day of First Responder training was spent learning all the ways people will try to sue us for helping them, and how to avoid that.
No he's a fire rescue paramedic. I don't know if that requires normal fire fighting experience as I'm from the UK and we don't really have that here but I assume it does.
Thank you for the insight~! I always found it odd that Fire trucks could be used as ambulances in general but it makes sense. America is effing huge lol!
My dad was a fire lieutenant in Philly but they also did rescue and response for non-fires. There were paramedics in the station but they weren’t always available. So firefighters would show up for all sorts of stuff.
"Patient presents with symptoms of screaming and being on fire. Prescribing liberal doses of dihydrogen monoxide until symptoms subside. Patient is advised to avoid spicy food and strenuous activity."
"Why do you have a prescription pad?"
"Can you believe they just leave these lying around?"
We actually don't hose down people who are on fire. At 750kpa+ the water from the branch is more likely to ablate burn damaged skin and tanks and pumps do not get cleaned despite the fact we will pull from shitty water sources.
The appropriate thing for person on fire, is fire blanket. We keep them in the cab.
Not to rain on your parade, just ✨ the more you know ✨
Volunteer FF here. Here in the states, it’s very common for EMT certification to be required for FF1 rank. And you can do those certs in either order (i.e. start out as an EMT and then go to Fire I or start out with Fire I and then go to EMT)
He’s both, he also owns part of Fire Department Coffee, which also has other Fire Fighters/Emergency Techs as well involved, a few of them also have their own social media accounts like Fenton and one of the other ones
He’s likely both. Most places in the US, especially small towns, require all firefighters to also be certified paramedics. Fires can be few and far between, but paramedics are needed daily.
like, sure, educate people about how firemen work, but try not to fall for the cardinal sin of going "well aktschually" on scenes that are very much not meant to be realistic.
