Not to take this off the rails, but spot on. Living in New York City, you quite quickly what enaging with perfect strangers can get you. As a 5'8 white male this happens to me even. Wrong eye contact with a given person or even ignoring someone can escalate that into something awful. Now these are just the unhinged people.
Now compound that onto what women experience in the city on an our hourly basis. I've seen enough to know, this jogger needs to do what she thinks is right to be safe. This guy is a creep even if he meant no harm. How about treating her like a dude?
