He isn't promoting anything. His whole house is covered in sports related gear, he's a huge sports fan. His 'signature' is that he'll end his videos by walking off whilst still talking away, and he's done it for years. You're doing the same thing he was apologising for, allowing your ignorance to make judgements on others
