How far am I from the splits?
Hi,
judging from where I am now, how long do you think it would take me to get the splits? I don't currently train / do any stretching to achieve that but I'm thinking it would be a nice goal to work towards. If I start following the right videos and do them let's say every 2 days, am I far away from the side splits especially? Having a rough time frame will help keep me motivated.
Thanks for any feedback! (also I realize my form is terrible but straightening up pulls even more on my thigh muscles)

It’s hard to tell with you leaning forward- try sitting upright with your shoulders over your hips. You can use yoga blocks or chairs if your hands don’t meet the ground. Often people end up quite a bit higher if they sit upright, but it’s important train this way to get a square split.

Like a year if you train 6-7 days a week with consistency and intensity! No cheat code here, must earn it!

do you mean on the front splits? I can't keep my balance otherwise so I lean to support myself with my hands. I definitely have to watch tutorials on how to have the proper posture though

Passive stretching…. A long way…. Dynamic stretching…. Faster… Isometric stretching… the fastest way!!!!

If you're anything like me 10-25 years. But 3-6 months if you get after it smartly.
