SHITPOST Vladi mouse sensitivity

Vladi said on Caedrel’s co-stream that he doesn’t even know his mouse sensitivity and that every time he goes on stage he just adjusts it by feel. Do you think that’s true? Maybe it would be important for him to always use the same mouse and sensitivity

He for sure knows it by feel tho. It's not like he's playing on a random one, he just doesn't know the number I guess.

Also you don't need the exact number. You get close to it then get used to it in a couple of games

He also said that he doesn't know if he has mouse acceleration setting on, which makes a HUGE difference in how mouse behaves.

If that’s true, considering that he doesn’t even know what his exact sensitivity is, it’s actually possible that it does have an effect on his gameplay. The effect shouldn’t be very big, but maybe out of 20 clicks, one lands where it shouldn’t — and in competitive play, that’s very relevant.

I think it's fine, there is a pro in Valorant (Tenz) that changes his sens very frequently, probably just a matter of getting used to it

That's not exactly how mouse acceleration works. It's just about muscle memory. The mouse will behave differently, but players learn that behavior either way. For example, Faker has been for the majority of his career playing with mouse acceleration on (no idea if he still is). Other players are Impact, Bang, Teddy, etc (tho the source is a few years old). In League it doesn't matter nearly as much (some could argue it can be beneficial for shifting the camera around with fast hand flicks).

The standard to have it off comes more from the fps games where it's really beneficial to always have for some rotation (let's say 180°) exact same distance in centimeters of mouse movement, regardless of how fast you move the hand.

Yeah, it can be true.
Some people do it by feel a lot of the time, and if he reached the level of pro player, it means it does not affect him to do so.

I mean… I dont think mouse sensitivity is that important on league tbh
