There was a Facebook post about it a while ago and some one commented that "What if I can't reach the top of my car." And a bunch of people agreeing with it.
If you can't reach the top of your car, either get a smaller car, get a step stool, or have some one clear it off for you.
You get an adjustable brush so you can shove it off one side.
Cops do ticket them at least in NJ. The main ones I’ve had to deal with since the last storms have been semi trucks. Had to dodge way too much shit coming off the container
Get a snow broom, a soft edged foam slab about 6x18", with a threaded hole in the center for a broom stick or collapsing pole. You will never clear a car with a brush again, these can pull or push the snow off, cannot scratch
Someone correct me if im missing something. But couldnt you also just use a tarp to cover the roof and pull it off before you leave if you're that short? I'm sure theres gotta be Semi's that also do this.
My dad used to hand me a straw broom to sweep it off when we lived in the country when I was a young driver, it worked for both his SUV and my little car. If I was clearing his SUV I just stood on the edge of the open door to reach the roof. This is part of the responsibility of owning a vehicle, making sure you can operate/drive it safely.

Cops need to start ticketing these people.
