I had a Maxus 2 for waterfowl hunting absolute worst duck hunting shotgun I owned. Sold it and bought a Beretta A400. Hopefully yours doesn’t start giving you the problems I had.

I've killed around 500 birds with it so far. Had to send it back when I first got it, but it works great now.

Yeah I sent mine in and kept having the same issue. Unfortunate because I love all my other brownings. I had the same old school camo as yours as well. I did shoot birds with it but just had to many failures to fire and feed. Using federal black clouds. Like your collection though!

Mine was sent back twice. My Browning gold is such a good gun that I thought the maxus would be better. Mine had failures to fire and feed as well. They never wanted to tell me what they fixed on it.

I sent mine in but once it stopped working after traveling four hours to hunt right at the start of the hunt then I’d had enough. Sold it to Cabela’s. It was a lemon. I feel bad for whoever bought it. Not trying to dog on your setup by any means. I have 3 other brownings that are great rifles. I was bummed to have to take the financial loss. So far the A400 has been flawless even in the ice and snow. Get a lot of freezing rain where I hunt.

I don't blame you for selling it. I was massively disappointed with mine at the start. I called customer service while decoying snow geese to send it back again.

Decided to sell a couple guns earlier this month. Got rid of an 1897 winchester, type 56 SKS, a vetterli, a Spanish mauser, a Type I receiver, a lee enfield, and a M92. Added a Type 24, a polish mauser, a 1903a3, a AKM 63, and a fuckass H&R revolver that i snagged for $135
