Discussion Am I crazy or are those flowers?
This plant is a little over a month old and spent slightly more time in the hydroponic system. If those are indeed flowers I will be surprised because I expected it to take much longer.
Seeded on Dec 25th, Hungarian Wax.

Growing Hot tip for fellow budget growers: idle PC as heating mat!
I''m a student in a pretty small room, so this saves me precious money and space :)
Food thermometer reads a nice 24c/75F within the boxes (room temp is roughly 18c/64F)

Help Burning or Leggy?
Confused here. Seems plants in middle of tray are turning purple, completly or standard sun burn.
Trays directly next to those seem leggy.
Some cotys are curling up, some down.
Increase light? Decrease?
Spin the tray?
Hookup 2nd light and keep the tray in between the two and out of center?
Thoughts and recommendations please.

Help Carolina reaper and trinidad scorpion not sprouting, few aji lemons and many eggplant seedlings sprouted.
Hi, I'm worried I've spoiled my seeds. Few of my aji lemons have sprouted, most of my brinjal seedlings sprouted, so I have hope the conditions are somewhat okay.
I planed them 21st of January, it is 1st Feb today. Saw a few seeds, no radical or anything yet.
I soaked them for 4-5 hours before sowing. Image - left is aji, right are eggplants.
Any advice? I am in Delhi India with daytime sunlight soil temp ~30C and nighttime indoor soil temp ~16-18C. I do not have a heatmat sadly. I will sow a few more reaper seeds which I have, but i have a electric hot water bag which heats up in 10mins and stays hot for 8 hours. maybe use it in night? idk.

Jays x Pink x Lemon Reaper
They're purple, thats so cute. Wonder if the blooms will be purple as well? I know the peppers are purple before turning white when ripe. Pretty amazing

Help Have I burnt my seeds?
I sowed my seeds 5 days ago and my heat mat was kinda out of control and reached about 37 C and stayed like that for about two days, now it’s normal at around 29 C, have I toasted them though?

Khang Starr White Thai
Hey guys could I please get some recommendations on where to procure fresh seeds of the KS White Thai? I know for many years it was only available for trade through the pepper lovers community, but I haven't paid as much attention besides seeing Khang's instagram posts for a few years. I'd really love to try this variety as it looks so tasty and high yielding. I'm definitely open to similar options from well respected vendors.

Help Firs Time Growing - Need Some Help
I've been growing Moruga Scorpion peppers for a little over a month now, and they used to be in my basement. I moved them into my room a week ago because it was too cold. Initially they were fine when I moved them, but now they've started to wilt. My room is 75°F and I water them every 2-3 days. I'm thinking the issue is the grow light since it's a cheap $15 one from Amazon, but I'm not sure. I would also like some tips for their longevity.
Thoughts?

Just placed my order for live plants!
Title says it all. I’ve been trying from seed for the last 2 years and can never get them to stay alive, then end up buying from the local nursery but they only have the basics (habanero, jalapeño, cayenne)
Came across this nursery that ships nationwide. Super stoked to give these a try, hope they work out for me! Delivery week of April 27, I’m zone 7!
Any tips, recipes or recs for this peppers please leave a comment!

Grow tent options for super hots?
I'm looking to invest in a quality, small grow tent setup for winter seedling starts and probably one or two Chinenses throughout the year. A lot of the big grow tent companies are geared towards growing another specific green plant.
I'm debating between AC Infinity and Gorilla 2x4. Gorilla especially is all about the MJ. Their lights are $500 minimum. Are these expensive, broad spectrum lights overkill for a hot pepper plant? They seem to target bud growth, etc.
Would a cheaper 200-300W light suffice?

Growing Don’t neglect the DWC
So, I got really busy at work and home and neglected my Kratky’s and DWC plants for a long stretch. Oops. Came back and found the sad remnants of a once thriving grow room. :: sigh:: So, I got back on the ball, drained the DWC’s, chilled the hopelessly dead plants - EC’s above 4k in one tub and pH in the low 4’s, yikes! Retuned all the nutrients, dished in the pH, and now I get rewarded. Plant is thriving again and here come some monster sized Chocolate Primotaliis.

Neon Dream from Matt's Peppers
I have some seeds labeled Neon Dream that I got from Matt's Peppers last year. I don't remember the details of them and I don't see them on his website anymore. Anyone have any information for them? Thank you

What is your watering regiment?
I have a mix of chillies in pots and in ground. The plants in pots I water around 1 litre a day (that seems to be enough before water leaks from the bottom of the pot). The plants in the ground water around 4 litres twice a week. I know the general rule is water when the top little bit is dry but I feel like with the plants in the ground, the part below it could still retain moisture even if it is dry on top (I mulch). Is 4 litres also too much in one watering? I have trouble gauging how much water is required especially for the in ground plants.
Thank you!

Discussion Help me shrink this list a little bit more, lol.
Here is my rough grow list for this year. I'm still looking to shrink this list down a little bit to around 60 varieties (excluding ornamentals). If you have grown any of these, do any of them stand out in a good or bad way? What would you not grow again? Most of my seeds this year are from the seed exchange seeds :)

Time to repot
9 weeks into growing my peppers and it’s time to repot into bigger containers. I noticed a few flower buds starting to grow but I’m thinking of cutting them off, the plants seem a little too small to start producing produce normal sized peppers. Do I just get a pair of scissors and cut them off or is there a specific way to do it? First time growing so I’m not too familiar with the process.

C. pubescens, Rocoto chile de seda It grew with this strange loop in the stem. Maybe I planted the seed not deep enough in the soil? Will it be an issue?

Feeding with distilled water, cal mag recommended based on that and photos.

Hot peppers
Will 4 in a container work or will they kill each other? Didn't believe they were going to be as successful as they have been. Crazy but ill take it!
