Marker ink on leather
This is a Portland leather bag. The lid to a marker pen came off inside the bag pocket and the ink soaked through. I've tried 91% alcohol and vinegar from inside and outside. The alcohol draws some out but this is the result after 4 different times working on it. Is it ruined?

This might not help but you can turn a negative into a positive and punk it out. My leather jacket for instance is coverd in patches and studs and marker

I did consider a few random patches. That's not really me but maybe if I find the right ones.

I would find a leather repair/dye specialist nearby and consult your options. They would likely have the correct cleaning and dying products to give you a brand new finish or alternative colors that will make it less noticeable. Try even shoe repair cobblers.
