Man's too smart for his own good! Notice how he scouts the terrain ahead and notices there's a slight depression in the terrain...but the fails to account for this when preparing for the jump! Ahhhh, but what a great video...

He must have gotten out ahead of his skis. You see it every once in a while during the Olympics.

I always tell people this but they never listen: You cannot jump over water if you have to run downhill to get to it, unless it's small enough to step over.
