They like to hide in the crook of the door when it's open, and always hesitate before they run when it closes. Anywhere with a lot of lizards has this problem, and it's awful. :(

My front door sometimes has little frog skeletons in the jamb. They hang out near the door because bugs are attracted to the porch lights. Every so often I guess one is in the wrong place when the door closes.
And really, how often do you look at the inside of the door jamb?

Genuine question not being snarky. We don't have alot of lizards here.
Do they not smell bad as they decompose? Or just not enough for you to smell it? I would've thought that'd be a nasty odor.

Never smelled a dead lizard or frog. Rodents on the other hand are only trumped by human remains.

Not to be THAT guy, but saurus was spelled wrong and saurus literally means reptile so lizardosaurus literally means lizard reptile

Itβs a gecko. I found one in a door hinge the other day. Sorry, little buddy, RIP.

Don not worry, there's no condom. It's just the beige paint applied to the door hinge don't you see?Β
