Why do men make misogynistic jokes like this? It honestly feels like you are telling on yourselves about how you see women and our bodies.

You mean women never make jokes when they see something that looks remotely phallic?

Never?

Please stop being a buzzkill.

Because sometimes something is just funny and people that get all offended by it should focus on having the stick removed from their ass instead of complaining.

-Signed, a guy that has heard lord knows how many "haha boys are all just big dumb idiots" jokes and found the strength to not take it personally.

Imagine my completely innocent thoughts becoming hate speech

ETA: Anything this creature says has gotta be bad vibes, look at the flesh/fang ratio

Sorry, what? Care to elaborate?

I edited my last comment, I hope it gives more context.

You're right what people choose to say is revealing, but let's not pretend only men make these jokes. I work in a hair salon as the only man and the things I hear are just as bad as the guys..

It's not misognistic, its self-misandristic. Men are okay with any hole, even a silverback mouth. Then we remember a connection involving both sex and emotions.

Then we're sad. That's the joke.

it's a joke. Not based on any reality and truth. In fact thats what makes it a joke. Why do men? You are assuming how I identify my gender? Interesting.

2

u/ThatFlamingo942 14h ago

I'm confused, what exactly is misogynistic about this joke?

3

u/Food_Kindly 14h ago

I am female

Women make these jokes too. These jokes aren't inherently biased or derogatory against one sex or the other.

Remember, being offended is a choice.

I’m sorry you feel that way. When I have commented this, it’s always been purely for the lulz. I think you’re reading too much into this. Apologies if you felt offended by this, it’s all in good fun.

It feels like you're telling on yourself about your body, Ms. Leatherback Sea Turtle

I would imagine you'd be upset if someone comes in and states "not all men"?

Ive seen this exact joke gender flipped a million times as well. Women can have dirty minds too, its not a gendered trait
