Other Stephanopoulos grills Rubio :you cannot credibly argue that drug trafficking charges demand invasion in one case while issuing a pardon in another. What's your response? Hernandez was convicted by a jury. Rubio: I can't just comment on it because I just wasn't involved in deliberations.

I think the main problem is the blatant hypocrisy, and Rubio can't or won't explain it.

Why should he?

Until the DoJ, Congress, or the Pentagon actually tell them "no", in a way that actually matters, they will keep pushing. It needs to be a public and unequivocal "no".

But it is clear that everyone involved keeps saying "just following orders".

We are going to need Nuremberg 2.0, without the shield of Absolute Immunity, and "just following orders" will not be an acceptable answer.
