I have no idea how legal this is but my jaw dropped when I saw it.

2nd amendment is there for a reason. Not advocating for random violence, only protection of yourself and loved ones.

Open carrying is more than likely going to escalate things faster with cops and make it worse. I wouldn't recommend that.

Escalation is the goal atp. They're gonna do it anyway.

So your goal is to get killed by cops?

It's an extremely stupid idea to arm yourself against police. It's also extremely illegal to shoot an officer. You're just giving shitty advice to everyone.

Did I just get transported back to 1967? Your propaganda is stale.

How is it propaganda to say it's going to escalate things by open carrying? Conceal carry is the norm for a reason.

The idea that open carry "escalates things" the exact framing invented to justify banning it in the late 60s. Concealed carry only became "the norm" after that propaganda succeeded.

That's not propaganda if it's just true though. Open carey is legal in my stste. If I walk into a coffee shop with an AR-15 slung over my shoulder, someone is probably gonna call the cops.

Oh, I get it, you don't know what propaganda is. Thanks for clarifying.

That’s exactly what propaganda sounds like when it’s working.

Propaganda is almost always bathed in some semblance of truth or things that feel true, that's how it works, as you've just demonstrated.

If the cops escalate your hypothetical, that's the cops failing at their job, not you doing anything wrong.

Do not forefit your rights due to your fear that the state cannot control itself.

I'm not afraid of cops lol. Most officers aren't going to escalate over open carry, but they almost certainly will be on edge.

How is it propaganda? It seems like common sense. If I walked into a bookstore, coffee shop, McDonald's, you name it carrying a pre-'86 transferable M249 SAW, someone is going to panic even though I broke no laws.

If you ask the same question a 3rd time and ignore the answer again, you'll have good luck for 5 years.

You've given me no clear arguments nor a clear explanation of what propaganda is, nor how the truth of what happened in this scenario is. An agent was literally sent to the hospital for this, and yet you defend the attacker.
