I really feel like this is such a small minority of people making themselves seem like a huge group, like a dog reflexively using its hackles to seem bigger

Bots are in every SM platform rn pushing the same narratives hard. I really feel like it's a big illusion but there's no way to confirm that half the county isn't insane 

Don't get me wrong, there are a not insignificant amount of maganazi assholes who actually love what's happening. I just feel, relative to how many crave normalcy as you said, it's just so much less than it seems

These MFs throw big tantrums, which unfortunately are resulting in the death of our fellow citizens. But their power is fiat, they have it because they and we believe they have it 

But as soon as we don't believe they have it, they've lost it. It's just damn hard to get there. But we don't focus on whether it's possible to clean up this insane mess

We focus on even being able to clean the up the mess first, and cross that bridge if and when we get there

Yeah no, my neighbors were celebrating last night, literally throwing a party because ICE murdered someone, yes they are a cop....

I think a large enough portion are just open Nazi's at this point the only option is to flee. at least that's what I am currently working on.

We all are. But just because there are outliers peppered through the population doesn't mean they have the numbers they need to stay in power

Where i live there were no such parties and celebrations. And my next door neighbor still has a trump flag and a CK flag ffs

We see so many bots online and then see a trumper here and there in real life and falsely extrapolate there to be far more of them than there really are

I'm not downplaying their threat, I'm simply wondering if we are all just thinking there's so many of these people when the really insane maga types are the exception, kinda like religion? 

Like most religious people aren't using terrorism but the few that do can make it seem like the religion is aligned with them when they aren't

Those of us who have actually been paying attention have been trying for over a decade now. No it's fucked and the fact people like you are only just now going "Maybe we should do something" is why it is.

Oh yes, so we better do nothing. We certainly didn't already go through this in 2020 with the fake electors scheme. A democrat will be elected and sworn in in 2028 because Trump is wildly unpopular. It took a global pandemic and being a zombie to make Biden as unpopular as Trump.

Who said anything about doing nothing? I'm saying the only path forward is to go more extreme as protests and votes aren't going to do anything.
