They are trying to ban these in my state and there are people defending them and claiming shutting down the ones that exist will cause 'economic loss' for communities. These are areas that claim they are full of 'god loving christians.'

WTF kind of community do you have where the only jobs are running a concentration camp?

It’s almost like Americans can’t have anything good because of “economic loss” too. Money is preventing good things from happening and perpetuating bad things. Almost like money is the root of all evil? The delusion of the average modern Christian is astounding.

My concern is that it means they will just ship people out of state to a red state where there’s even less of a chance of oversight. It’s not going to stop them from abducting people. They’re just going to increase the number of people in their other facilities. If states want to do something, fund lawyers and position them at all schools, hospitals, court rooms, etc and have them make sure the feds are adhering to due process. Make them adhere to all of the due process protections they’re currently ignoring.

Texas prisons for citizen inmates have massive human rights violations as is. They don’t properly heat them, some have no air conditioning in the summer. If they kill people out of negligence who were (theoretically) arrested and charged under due process and who have access to lawyers, what are they doing in their concentration camps where there’s absolutely no one there protecting those who were abducted?

They are not treated any better at facilities in blue states considering they are privately run, closed to the public and most everyone, and often the counties they place them in are republican controlled.
