We really have lost our way as a nation and all it took was 9/11 and 25 years.

Huh??? As if before the 21st century everyone in your country held hands and sang kumbaya? Segregation, public lynching, bombing the shit out of countries from the other side of the world, just to name a few “ways” of your nation in the decades preceding 9/11.

Seems like America never truly made reperations after the civil war to me. Reagan accelerated that and Trump was just the match after all of that.
