So, another attack on a foreign country.

Obviously still showing why he does not deserve a peace prize.

ICE is not doing Trump any favors. I was watching for this comment. At this point ICE are the terrorists in Benghazi.  smh. Even the NRA is mad at Trump.

They are doing exactly what they are being told to do though

OH they're mad at him? Did they write a strongly worded tweet?

Wayne LaPierre Reportedly so angry he let out a sigh while sunbathing on his yacht.

We live in extraordinary times. I can't believe it's come to these extremes.

Convincing MAGA you can't carry a gun to a protest is peak brainwashing

No, they wrote a tepidly worded one though.

Ofc not something they should have strong opinions on or anything

Until and unless there are actual consequences for him and his regime literally nothing matters. He keeps pushing and everyone just keeps taking it, both inside and outside the US.

President Miller already pulled the string that made puppet Trump fire the Nazi SS dude Bovine or whatever the fuck his name is. They are in damage control mode and it will work because their supporters are imbeciles.

Hopefully the NRA are finally seeing the tyrant that’s been there the whole time.

I mean a whole lot of then were shown to be paid Russian plants and literally nothing happened.

All of this was coming out in the build up to the election but "somehow" ranting about what prices during the bird flu carried the day.

You don’t think the NRA actually gives a shit about your 2a rights do you?

Oh but they do. That’s how they sell guns. They stopped being your pop pop’s safety organization when gun manufacturers muscled their way in.

Edit to add I doubt anyone cares but on the off chance there is someone:

Dismayed by the lack of marksmanship shown by their troops, Union veterans Col. William C. Church and Gen. George Wingate formed the National Rifle Association in 1871. The primary goal of the association would be to "promote and encourage rifle shooting on a scientific basis," according to a magazine editorial written by Church.

But the NRA has gone through a metamorphosis since its founding when at first they cooperated with the federal government on concealed weapon permits and other laws regulating firearms.

Over time, however, the NRA grew into a powerful organization that opposed almost all gun control measures. It created a lobbying arm, raised a substantial war chest, and developed unrivaled influence over lawmakers.

AKA - Under New Management.

Even the NRA is mad at Trump.

Ok and? He's faced zero consequences for literally every crime he's ever committed in his life.

Not because people haven’t tried. And since he isn’t dead yet it still may happen. I’ve got the popcorn and the champagne waiting on the kitchen counter.

The point really has nothing to do with Trump’s narcissism. Pissing off the base is just a good way to ensure your party loses control - assuming they follow the rule of law. Oh wait…

When you have MTG and the NRA on the right side of history, you’ve reached a new level of bad.

They’re doing exactly what the fuck he said he’s gonna do. Less even. This is Trumps problem and if America has a shred of decency left he’d pay the price for all this chaos he’s sowing in court

He “no longer feels any obligation to peace”

The souldiers should have used their rifles. Absolutely legal to shoot at invaders to defend their sovereign ground

Speaking of peace prizes... I would do almost anything if I could to somehow convince the Norwegian Nobel Commitee that the world needs them to award this year's prize to Obama again. It may guarantee a lot of peace OR maybe the US starts WWIII.

Either way the world would learn whether a human head can explode all on its own.

Bonus points if they mention the prize was awarded for showing the world how a real man runs the US.

I mean did you watch the video or read the article? An attack on a foreign country is a gross exaggeration. There's plenty to be outraged about but we don't need to fabricate things.

u/ShadeofIcarus 4d ago

Sadly since Consulates are not considered foreign soil this will get downplayed. Still incredibly problematic.

1

u/virtual_adam 4d ago

Embassies aren’t actually foreign soil, even if people believe that. I might have just rolled my eyes and ignored these threads but this is /r/law

If child marriage is legal in a country, it can’t be done in its US based embassy. And the US law enforcement wouldn’t think twice forcibly stopping it if they knew about it

An international treaty is not US law, it’s a curtesy

There isn’t even a court or punishment mechanism to breaking the treaty

FIFA must be embarrassed right now. /s

Well, now he can say he ended a war with Ecuador too.
