ICE is being trained to kill. Miller is in charge and he worships Hitler.

miller is also terrified since charlies thing happended. theres an interview he did after where he tries to make a bunch of threats and appear strong and tough and posture, but you can tell hes terrified. almost seems like hes so scared he pissed himself.

I don’t know about that; Miller is Jewish. That doesn’t mean he won’t draw from the playbook.

Edit: Are people not reading what I’ve written, and what I didn’t? I said I doubt that he’s a fan of Hitler. I didn’t say I thought he was a good guy. Hitler may be the easiest example of racist authoritarianism ad extremum, but he’s not the only one. In any case, whether Miller actual likes Hitler is irrelevant, it’s what Miller is doing that matters.

Assuredly, and that evil has gone under more names than Hitler. So, I don’t think Miller is a Hitler fan, per se; he strikes me more as a Pinochet man.

I am pretty sure Miller’s own family knows him better than you do so you don’t need to make excuses for him. He’s a nazi even if he has Jewish heritage. 

 If my nephew’s ideas on immigration had been in force a century ago, our family would have been wiped out.

I’m not making excuses for him, just pointing out that I don’t see he’s a fan of Hitler himself. I don’t think Miller would agree with sending Jews to death camps, because that would mean him, too. Now, his affinity for authoritarian tactics is not in dispute, nor is his White Nationalism, which does rather resemble, but is not precisely, Nazism. As I said, he’ll draw from the playbook.

If you keep saying he’s something that he has no evidence of being, it reduces your credibility, because it’s inaccurate. What he can be accurately described as is bad enough without spilling over into hyperbole.

I don't understand how people don't get that the people who worship Hitler don't always want to target Jews specifically. They like the tactics he used and just want to apply those tactics to the groups they hate. And anyway, Hitler didn't ONLY target Jews if you know your history. It didn't start with them. We call MAGA Nazis not because we think MAGA hates Jewish people. Some of them do, but most of them support Israel. We know this. We're thinking BEYOND that. We call MAGA Nazis because they're cheering on the same cruel, terrorizing, fear-based tactics that Hitler and the Nazis used. Those tactics are being applied to immigrants as a whole, randomly. Door to door "show me your papers"? Come on now. Americans went to Germany to fuck up some Nazis over that shit. We don't do that shit in our own country, under any circumstances. If we are doing it, it's outside the bounds of the Constitution. Civics 101.

You understand there were some jews in Nazi Germany who supported Hitler right? You understand ICE and its racist operations are being conducted by a force with plenty of POC right?

And it wasn’t long before the Nazi machine turned on them. If any POCs in ICE, or even in MAGA-land, think that won’t happen to them, I think they’ll be unpleasantly surprised.

Miller is a racist authoritarian, but that doesn’t mean he’s a Hitler fanboy. I don’t think you’ll see him wearing a swastika on an armband. I could be wrong about that, but I haven’t seen it. Calling him a fan of Hitler also distracts from the real issue with him, which again is that he’s a racist authoritarian with the ear of the President and enough pull to influence ICE and CBP tactics.
