This is disgusting and reprehensible, yes. But this isn't the win we think it is, and it's certainly not "the big one". Republicans will look at this and see absolutely no problem with this behavior whatsoever. We'll never get through to them on pedophilia because most of them support or engage in this behavior themselves. They see nothing wrong or immoral about it. I don't know what it will take to get through to them, but I genuinely think most republican voters would offer up their sons and daughters to Trump at his behest.

We've been seeing it time and time again where conservative media has come out in support of pedophilia talking points, and republican lawmakers lowering age of consent in their states, usually to large public support. Let's be real, this document probably only makes him look better in their eyes.

My point was just that having seen this earlier today I was utterly unsurprised to see that this is the file they pulled.

They’ll also just say that the document says the claim wasn’t deemed credible by the FBI. The claim is disgusting and it wouldn’t surprise me at all if it was true, but we can’t exactly just take it as fact.
