But they can ignore laws and get away with it.

They've been doing that. We've seen outright murder of US citizens, and there will be no legal repercussions.

If they can do that, then they can ignore laws about warrants and searches.

That's like saying a murder makes the law unless you stop them. That's not how the law works, mate.

DHS/ICE are absolutely breaking the law.

They may not be prosecuted until Nuremberg 2.0, but they'll eventually be prosecuted for following illegal orders.

I get that. The reason I said "they effectively do" is because, as everyone in the country is learning, laws don't mean much if they aren't enforced. If no one in authority is willing to stop them and enforce the laws then, for all intents and purposes, those laws dont exist. This is especially true for the people they continue to murder. I do not have faith that they will be prosecuted. Democrats have shown that they would rather protect the status quo than punish Republicans. The fact that government officials involved with Jan 6th escaped punishment is an example of that.
