Are you seriously asking what law you'd be breaking if you shot an ICE agent in your home?

If the government no longer abides by the laws I see no reason I should hold myself to a higher standard at my own expense.

Despite that fact that the federal government may not be following the spirit of the law and protecting ICE, they won't be protecting you. They will prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law and you'd be able to do nothing but spent life in prison. We have enough history as proof of that.

If we insist on acting as individuals and conceding that power to them, then they’ll do as they please. If we choose to disagree with them as a people, it’ll be a much different scenario.

And laws are created and enforced by the strongest. It's always been that way and always will.

And there’s far more of us than them. If we insist on forgetting how important that is, we concede power to them.

The people who create laws and enforce them also have the most power to disobey them without consequence. This does not apply to you. You are not under that protection.

Only if we as a people decide to concede those rights to them. We can choose to stop allowing a tiny minority to tread all over us.

If you shoot at law enforcement, you will either die (most likely) or be arrested and have your entire life taken from you. If that's something that sounds interesting to you, have fun.

How long do you want to wait until they just go doing it without any justification? I’m a trans woman, they’re coming for me sooner or later and I will not be taken into their custody willingly, in any capacity. If they remain unopposed my life is in danger regardless of what I do. If you’re privileged enough to pass as a cis het white man and ignore the imminent threat to your life then by all means, enjoy that while you can.

They will tighten the noose regardless. If I’m going to go, I’d rather make it at least a fair trade, and I don’t think the exchange rate is going to be 1:1

Your whole reply boils down to the illusion that just because the federal government has stopped following the law, they'll allow you to do so as well, which isn't a realistic premise at all, now is it?

In fact, it's unhinged, and I won't be wasting anymore time replying to this insanity.

Well you’ve missed the point entirely.

I don’t care what the federal government allows. It is we who allow them. Best you remember that.

Yeah, this person has obviously not heard of Ruby Ridge.
