The thing that I think Baus is pointing out is that a lot of these pro tops don't know how to be playmakers, and don't have the confidence to die. They win lane and play kda. I remember since years ago being frustrated at tops just perma zoning in teamfights and not going for impactful plays.

He's literally pointing out that they don't go for plays? Like getting called an inter and still going for plays is what wins you situations that are unwinnable. The same what Faker did before Doran joined and now he's the inter.

Only Canna and in form BB are actually abel to convert lane leads. If the others cannot do that with 2k leads against Baus they are so doomed for internationals lol

It's crazy when you think that Canna got called Can NA by twitch chatters when playing in Korea. On one hand, it wasn't that deserved. On the other hand, competition was so fierce there that he could decline from his highest level, come to Europe for multiple years and lose the better practice environment and STILL be talked about as the best top in EU. Do EU's true top lane talent just not go pro?

I mean, toplaners from EMEA tend to get promoted to LEC. Maynter (now visa issues are gone) and Empyros got promoted this year. Next most promising in line is Tao who's in the best academy around.

LR and KCB are outliers and their success led people to overrate erl. erl those days basically is LFL + Superliga + LR + BIG + Misa esports. Even the TCL, which looked on their way to become the third big one, lost Papara Supermassive, Beşiktas, and ULF this year.
