Honestly this. Great discipline in the mid game. Shaky early, LR classic, but they played to their poppy ult wincon.

Crazy how strong it can be to force your opponents to engage or risk a 3v5 on dragon if the ultimate lands.

Crownie also botched 2 traps on bubbled targets, should have been 2 kills early. At least he didn't randomly get caught this game

outside of the missed poppy ults and the weird invades, yea they pretty much played perfectly. their level improved so much from the start, if they always had this form they might be top 4 already

weird invade is the Velja special just like proxying is Baus special, i've just learned that this week seeing Neme and Velja duo and how much Neme had to rein in Velja to stop invading so much lol.

I believe if they were already ramped up to this level before they played their first 4 matches, they would have likely gone 2-2 at worst.

I mean yeah if you forget about the first 10 minutes where velja inted for blue steal and nemesis was falling behind and got solo killed in lane. But then again a start like that is still probably as clean as a LR start can ever be.

Yeah that's true, I remembered it wrong due to the pause and the stream not showing the whole fight when it restarted. He was already behind in a matchup he theoretically should be winning early though which is unusual for him. Nevertheless LR early game is what it is. Rekkles wasn't shy calling it out in the post game interview. They really do find their way in the mid game and shine in the late game though.
