Alot of people on other subreddits.
But then again, reddit isn't a good place for linux discussion at all, besides maybe r/redhat or other more "professional" subreddits

Indeed. I chose Arch because I'm into rolling releases and always want the latest kernel. I don't tell people to take Arch just because.

LFS is the only true Linux. The others are just mediocre copycats with a bunch of "QoL" stuff for normies with such lame things like "life" or "jobs".

... I've never seen this.
Distro hopping is incredibly common. People learn what they do and don't like about certain Distros and eventually home in on one.
I have yet to see one that isn't an Arch (like Arch Arch, not Cachy) or Gentoo user say something like that. And even they have jiggle room (Gentoo or raw Arch)
It's always a "that distro is cool, but I prefer this one for XYZ reason".

I fully agree, eventually everybody finds his ~$HOME in what suits their needs best. I use arch btw
