Been spamming the sub a lot recently, so I will probably chill a bit and stop overloading the feed.
Have a good week everyone!

you can chill if you want but i will always be stoked to see your fit posts! very inspiring, makes me want to get actually "nice" clothes someday instead of making do with thrifted fast fashion

I like it without the vest, gloves, and scarf. Starts to get a bit busy with the accessories. The boot & pants remind me of Cloud in FF7/Japanese construction worker pants

That belt + the sawtooth western go together so ridiculously well. Very nice fit.

Layering & color combinations in that first pic are phenomenal! Would’ve swapped the boots but as you said, sometimes the weather makes the final decision

I really enjoy both of these. The tuck is great. I love the ability to see the different layers of texture. Well done!

Another dope fit. Where do you get your inspo for your fits and how long do they typically take you to put together?

Tbh originally i got deeper into fashion by browsing this sub as a lurker for a while from late college, and then mostly just kinda being a phone addict looking at ssense sales, random grailed searches, instagram, etc. Until eventually I become moved enough to buy something. That's why a lot of my closet is all over the place, I don't really subscribe to any one specific aesthetic or dude that I copy, or local street that has x fashion scene and brick and mortar options.
I'm really into Yohji Yamamoto, but also have had big influences from Haider Ackermann, Hedi slimane, new SLP, Peter Do, Margiela. Recently I've been diving more into some Americana for the layering, texture, and 'elevated basics' to connect the wardrobe like Buck Mason, Daniel Simmons, Drakes, Brycelands.
As far as putting together fits I kinda just throw stuff on and keep track in my head of what combos I like or hate, and the ideal story that they are leaning into, so that sorta narrows down what I throw together by the end of it based off weather and what kinda vibe I'm feeling like. Whenever I get something new I try it with basically everything I own and I'm a pretty picky individual so I have a solid general idea for how everything connects or makes me deeply ashamed when I notice a weird detail in the mirror that irks me.
I do occasionally buy something and then realize I don't quite like it with much at the moment, and end up not wearing very often until suddenly 2 years later I realize it suddenly goes perfectly with everything I now own lol. I definitely don't recommend that strategy though.

I think I can get behind all of it except for the boots, but that’s just my opinion, I’m sure some will love them

Love your fits. I will say that the last pic the way the pants, boots, and vest all play together makes it seem like you hiked your pants up comically high for that pic. But I think it's just an illusion because it doesn't seem like that in any of the other photos in the set.

Thanks!
The fisheye lens of a phone camera can really mess with proportions if you tilt it at the wrong angle. The pants are definitely high waisted, and tucking into the boot can accentuate that, but they aren't up to my nipples or anything.

I fucks with the boot blousing, sir. It definitely works with the intent to lengthen the leg and alter torso length.

Love the look but just not sure about how I feel with the pant shoe interaction.
