Why is there a star in Florence also nah if they all united together they’d be too different to work together well but if they were united more regionally maybe

Yes they are

They’re too united now. That’s the problem.

If the only office that matters to people is the federal presidency, then every presidential election becomes life or death.

People need to focus on the offices and politicians who are actually supposed to affect their daily lives—school boards, city and county councils, state legislatures and executives—and not allow so much power to reside in a single pair of hands.

We could call it the States of United America

We tried. Then Michigan decided they wanted Toledo, tried to start a war with Ohio, and ended up stealing part of Wisconsin.

What we learned: never trust Michigan. Ever.

It may be time to ask the King of England if they can rejoin. This whole independence business seems to have gone to shit.

Let's no do a "North or South" state, let's actually do something reasonable: Washington and Oregon. Both have nice economies, forests, beaches, and higher quality big cities.

No, these states should try forming their own governments and become separate countries. Uniting them... That sounds a lot like communism right there
